Hot Girl Summer?

Updated: Jun 12, 2020

I didn't plan to go on holiday this year so I was on doing up my own version of 'hot girl summer' haha. If you know me, you'll know I literally go work then to my house (don't judge me) I’m a homebody!

So by force I was on motives. I was quite active I must say...respectably of course lol. Catch ups, link ups, events, rooftop parties, dinners. Ya girl was on it. So of course I was going to look nice doing it.

I like clothes, so it was fun to put nice lil fits together.

Quick summary!

I think all white is always sleek and simple, when you don't get marks on it! I wore this to a day party and paired it with an oversized denim jacket.

Crop Top: Primark

White midi skirt: Missguided (4 years ago)

Denim Jacket: Zara (similar)

Trainers: Adidas

Black is one of my favourite colours. Any season I'll wear it. Can't go wrong!

I wore the dress as a top with the skirt over it, but my thighs were doing a madness so ditched the skirt.

Bandeau Midi Dress: Boohoo

Leather Midi Skirt: Missguided

I normally go for midi's when wearing skirts buttt switched it up with this vinyl bodycon mini. I can still get away with it lol.

Mini Skirt: PrettyLittleThing

Denim Jacket: Zara

This is my fave top at the moment. Can be dressed up or down. I wore this to Golden Bee, rooftop bar in Shoreditch (the music coulda been better but still a nice vibe).

And unless you have a nice strapless bra with good support, wear some nipple covers :)

My bestie booked brunch for us at Alto. Highly recommend! Great views on the rooftop and a calm atmosphere. Food is always a motive for me lool so I'll deffo be going back for dinner.

Oversized Shirt: Stradivarius

Frilly Sliders: Primark

My friend and his team threw 3 events over the summer at Ace Hotel in Shoreditch. My kinda motive, where you don't have to wear heels! I like to be comfy but still look okay lol so this was a perfect combo for me.

Oversized Tee: ISawItFirst

Cycling Shorts: Primark

Converse: Office

Ladies you know when you have that PLT or ASOS wishlist and keep on adding to it? Yeah that's been me lately, so I was cheeky over the summer and moved some of those items to the basket (they went on sale so it's justifiable tbh) lol. These green trousers being one of them. See I'm adding some colour bit by bit! These trousers come mad long, so if you're a shorty like me you might need to get a few inches taken off.

Logo Tee: River Island

High Waisted Trousers: PrettyLittleThing

Bag: River Island

The day after I got back from Manchetser. The weather was nice so I took a pic, a bit extra I know lol. Again the bodysuit can be dressed up or down. I never wear prints/pattern but the trousers are versatile and hella comfy!

Trousers: Mango

I felt well classy in this LWD lol. I wore this to a family Christening. It fitted well, a bit too well since my lil food baby popped out but it's fine. The slit added a little sexy too which I can do every now and again lol. This is definitely wedding vibes, but in a different colour. Got my eye on the black version.

Boohoo, Under 15 quid! Thank me later girls :)

One Shoulder Dress: Boohoo

Monochrome!

Mini Skirt: PrettyLittleThing

Yes, again with this bodysuit! Nothing wrong with recycling pieces, gotta get our monies worth ladies lol. I wore this to a bar a few days ago, it's a simple smart/casual outfit. I like how straight jeans look with heels, so was happy with this buy from Primark. They fit really well.

Now as for these shoessss, they were an impluse buy from Mango but I justified it cos all my heels are open toe and these are closed sooo :)

They're a slingback style with a snakeskin effect. The heel's small, so comfy and easy to walk in. Perfect.

Vinyl High Heels: Mango

Straight Jeans: Primark
